Toursit Cards - You will need a Mexico Tourist Card if you will be in Mexico for more than 72 hours, or you are driving further than the 'Border Zone'. or if you will be traveling further than the 'Border Zone' (25 kilometers across the border). You can get your Tourist Card at the border crossing point, or from most cities close to the Mexico/US border. You can also pick up the blank Tourist Card form from a travel agency, all airlines provide them during the flight down, or at a Mexican Consulate, but you will need to have the Tourist Card stamped by Mexican Immigration officials upon entering Mexico. If you drive in Mexico you will also need Mexican Auto Insurance. This is available at the border or on the Internet. As of January 2007 a valid U.S. Passport is required for all U.S. Citizens
